An aerialist wrapped in gold silks leans out and arches her back. In the background is a blue sky with tiny, fluffy clouds.

Sally Brewer

RCC’s Artistic Director, Sally Brewer, became enamored with circus arts in her late 20s and wanted to marry her passion for the arts with helping all bodies learn to love movement. She believes that every person has the right to learn to love their body and how it has its own unique, special style of movement. She has spent the last seven years performing, competing, directing shows, rigging in theaters, and teaching circus arts all over Oregon and in her home gym of Revelers Aerial Works.

As Artistic Director of RCC, Sally hopes to increase access to this art form and bring more performance opportunities to people who would not otherwise be able to participate, particularly the LGBTQ+ community that holds a special place in her heart.

Sally is a 4th generation Oregonian, mom, corgi owner, and avid house plant collector. When you don't find her instructing and teaching aerial arts, you can likely find her at home thinking about teaching aerial arts.

Ashly Lilly

RCC’s Executive Director, Ashly Lilly, began her circus journey in 2010 at Bumbershoot Aerial Arts in St. Louis and has never looked back! She’s been coaching and performing since 2017 and is passionate about supporting students in their circus goals.

Ashly recently graduated from UO with a Masters of Nonprofit Management and a Graduate Certificate in Arts Management. She’s excited to combine those skills with her circus background and to build opportunities for others to perform and create.
